This coating satisfies the needs for underground, underwater and surface pipelines with continuous temperatures not exceeding 40° C for bitumen.  Bitumen and Coal-Tar Process Pipe is heated to eliminate humidity The surface is shot-blasted to remove scale and rust Primer is applied to improve adhesion The pipe external surface is wrapped in fiberglass embedded in bitumen or coal-tar by one of two processes: Dipping. Fiberglass passing through a tank of molten enamel is wrapped onto the rotating pipe Pouring.
