NEW
GENERATION SWP MACHINE TO AMERON INTERNATIONAL
USA leading
Pipe Manufacturer AMERON International agrees with PRD-Cagil
for a supply of a new generation PRD Mill as a part of their
upgrade schedule.
This SWP
Machine has PRD’s latest (3rd generation) metal
joiner. The metal joiner is equipped with an edge milling
machine that reduces coil ends joining time to 15 minutes.
Also the SWP
machine is equipped with FRS 5001 series of new generation
forming unit will produce pipes that are 24” to 144” in
diameter, and have length of 6m to 18m. Wall thickness can
go up to 25mm.
The unit is
due for shipping in fall of 2008
OFFLINE
UPGRADEABLE SWP MACHINE FOR ERCIYAS PIPE
An Offline
Upgradeable SWP Machine for Erciyas Pipe of Turkey is going
to be cold tested on January 2008 at Cagil’s workshop in
Turkey.
SWP Machine is
designed to serve for x100 grade of steel and having 360
tons of forming force at his new generation forming unit.
The unit has
PRD’s 2nd generation metal joiner system without
the EMM which lets the coil joining to be completed in 15
minutes.
Also the SWP
Machine has an Uncoiler with pre-tensioning system which
eliminates spring back effect for coils that have X80 grade
or more.
This mill has
a Double Main Drive.

COMPLETE
OFFLINE UPGRADEABLE API SWP PLANT BEING COMMISSIONED AT
GREGORIAN INTERNATIONAL
SWP Plant
which was shipped to Gregorian International, Venezuella in
July – August 2007 is now being installed and commissioned.
OFFLINE
UPGRADABLE SWP Mill is set for API rated pipe manufacturing
and equipped with PRD FRS 5001 series new generation forming
unit. System will start as online production and will be
upgraded to offline in the future.
Down stream
includes Hydrostatic Pipe Tester, End Beveling Machines, X
Ray Unit and Complete Material Handling System.
Gregorian
International also orders to PRD – CAGIL new Beveling head
and additional real time X Ray unit within the scope their
extension program. The units are going to be shipped in
April 2008.
TUMEX PIPE
FROM MEXICO ORDERS EQUIPMENT UPGRADES FROM PRD-CAGIL
Tumex Pipe
from Mexico, who has an old PRD SWP Mill, asked for upgrades
on their equipment.
Equipment that
will be upgraded contains Edge Milling Machine, UT System
and Forming.
Orders will be
completed by the middle of 2008.
